The DYNABRADE 48360 is a straight angle air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, and surface finishing in trade and industrial environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi, it delivers 20,000 RPM with 0.4 horsepower output, making it well suited for extended use on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The lever-style throttle gives the operator direct speed control during detail work. A rear exhaust port redirects airflow away from the work surface, keeping debris and coolant mist clear of the cut area. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, machinists, and general maintenance professionals commonly use this class of tool for port cleanup, weld prep, and fitting modification.
The 48360 fits into applications where a compact, straight-line die grinder is needed in tight quarters. Its 6 mm collet accepts standard rotary burrs, mounted points, and carbide bits commonly used in metal fabrication, pipe fitting, and mechanical maintenance work. With a 1/4 inch NPT air inlet, it connects directly to standard shop air supply lines. The compact body dimensions make it manageable during overhead or confined-space work, and the lever throttle allows for controlled modulation when working on precision surfaces.
Designed as a straight-line die grinder accepting standard 6 mm shank rotary burrs, mounted points, and grinding accessories. Compatible with shop air systems supplying 90 psi through a 1/4 inch NPT connection.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with pneumatic tool safety practices. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the line pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi and that an inline filter-regulator-lubricator unit is installed to protect internal components. Disconnect the air supply before changing collet tooling. Always wear appropriate eye protection and follow applicable OSHA and facility safety guidelines when operating rotary grinding tools.
