The DYNABRADE 48325 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision material removal, deburring, porting, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air at 90 psi and rated at 0.4 horsepower, it delivers a no-load speed of 25,000 RPM for aggressive stock removal with consistent control. The rear exhaust design directs air away from the work surface, keeping the work area clear of debris and improving visibility during operation. It ships with both a 1/4 inch and a 6 mm collet insert, making it ready for a wide range of rotary tooling without additional adapters. Metalworkers, fabricators, pipefitters, and general maintenance techs are the typical end users.
The DYNABRADE 48325 suits industrial maintenance, metal fabrication shops, welding operations, and mechanical service bays where a compact straight-body air tool is needed for tight-access grinding and finishing work. The lever throttle provides consistent speed control during extended use. Air consumption runs at 23 CFM, so an adequately sized compressor and air line are required to maintain full operating pressure at the tool. The straight-body form factor allows access to recessed bores, ports, and cavities that angle grinders cannot reach.
Designed as a direct-use straight air die grinder accepting standard 1/4 inch and 6 mm shank rotary burrs, mounted points, and grinding bits. Compatible with any compressed air system supplying a minimum of 90 psi and 23 CFM at the tool inlet.
Installation is performed by connecting the tool to a regulated compressed air supply via a standard air fitting; ensure the supply line delivers at least 90 psi and 23 CFM to maintain rated performance. Always depressurize and disconnect the air supply before changing collets or tooling. Inspect the collet and collet nut for wear before each use, and never exceed the RPM rating of the mounted accessory. Use appropriate PPE including eye protection and hearing protection during operation.
