The tool accepts a 20.5-inch belt and draws 28 CFM of air through a 1/4-inch NPT inlet. Powered by a 0.5 HP motor, it balances power and control for extended use. Metalworkers, fabricators, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers and operators of this tool.
The 40326 is suited for industrial production lines, metal fabrication shops, and maintenance repair operations where straight-line belt sanding is required. Its straight profile makes it effective for accessing confined areas, weld seams, and flat stock that wider tools cannot reach. The pneumatic drive requires a compressed air supply capable of sustaining 28 CFM at adequate line pressure.
