The DYNABRADE 15300 is a pneumatic belt sander designed for high-speed material removal in industrial and trade settings. Powered by a 0.7 HP motor, it drives belts up to 1 inch wide and 18 inches long at a surface speed of 4,550 FPM and a no-load speed of 20,000 RPM. Air supply connects through a 1/4 inch NPT inlet and requires 32 CFM at 90 psi operating pressure. At 2.5 pounds, the tool is light enough for extended overhead or in-position work. It is typically installed and operated by industrial maintenance technicians, fabricators, pipefitters, and metalworking professionals who need consistent, controlled abrasive action.
The 15300 is suited for blending, deburring, and weld grinding on metal fabrications, structural components, and piping assemblies. The front exhaust location directs spent air away from the work surface, reducing debris contamination on the workpiece. The tool accepts belts ranging from 1/4 inch to 1 inch wide by 18 inches long, covering a range of contour and flat-surface finishing tasks. It ships with a 15350 contact arm included. This sander is appropriate for both production-line environments and field repair scenarios where a compressor air supply is available.
Designed for use with 1/4 inch to 1 inch wide by 18 inch long abrasive belts. Requires a minimum 3/8 inch inside-diameter air hose and a compressor supply capable of delivering at least 32 CFM at 90 psi for rated performance.
Connection and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic tool safety. Verify the air supply is isolated and depressurized before attaching or removing belts or contact arms. Use a minimum hose size of 3/8 inch inside diameter to maintain adequate CFM at the tool. Inspect the belt and contact arm for wear or damage before each use and do not exceed the rated operating pressure of 90 psi.
