The DYNABRADE 14360 is a pneumatic belt sander designed for grinding, blending, finishing, and surface conditioning tasks in professional metalworking, fabrication, and maintenance environments. It runs on compressed air at 90 psi and delivers 0.7 horsepower (522 watts) at 3,400 RPM, driving a 1-1/2 x 30 inch abrasive belt. The 1/4 inch NPT air inlet connects to standard shop air lines, and the rear exhaust routes spent air away from the work surface. At 6.5 pounds and 18 inches in overall length, it is sized for sustained handheld use on flat stock, weld seams, and contoured surfaces. Typical users include metal fabricators, maintenance mechanics, and industrial finishing technicians.
The 14360 is suited for both light and heavy-duty surface work including sanding, polishing, blending weld joints, and conditioning metal or composite surfaces. It fits into production line finishing operations as well as field maintenance and repair workflows. The compact body and rear exhaust orientation make it practical in confined workspaces where debris direction matters. A minimum hose inside diameter of 0.38 inches is required to sustain adequate airflow and maintain rated tool performance. Applications listed by the manufacturer include blending, finishing, polishing, sanding, and surface conditioning.
Designed for use with standard 1-1/2 x 30 inch abrasive sanding belts. Requires a shop air supply capable of delivering 90 psi and at least 40 CFM through a hose with a minimum inside diameter of 0.38 inches.
Installation and belt changes should be performed by a qualified technician following the manufacturer service documentation. Disconnect the air supply completely before changing belts or performing any maintenance on the tool. Verify that the air line and fittings are rated for at least 90 psi before connecting. Follow applicable OSHA and facility safety standards for pneumatic tool operation, including proper eye and hearing protection during use.
