The DYMO CORP 18054 is a heat shrink label designed for permanent, professional identification on wires, cables, and tubing. The label stock measures 3/8 inch wide by 5 inches long and is produced in high-visibility yellow. When applied with a compatible DYMO heat shrink label printer, heat causes the label to contract and conform tightly around the substrate, creating a durable, tamper-evident identification sleeve. Electricians, low-voltage technicians, and panel wiring specialists use this format to label conductors in control panels, junction boxes, and equipment enclosures where long-term legibility is required.
This label is suited for residential and commercial electrical work, industrial control wiring, and any application requiring a labeled sleeve that will not peel, slide, or degrade under normal service conditions. The yellow color stock provides contrast against dark wire insulation and supports color-coded identification schemes commonly used in panel labeling workflows.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement label supply for compatible DYMO heat shrink label printers that accept the 18054 cartridge format.
Heat shrink labels are applied by a licensed electrician or low-voltage technician using a compatible DYMO label printer. De-energize circuits before applying labels to live wire bundles in panels or enclosures. Follow NEC guidelines for wire marking and identification in electrical installations. Do not apply heat from external sources beyond the printer mechanism, as uncontrolled heat may damage wire insulation.
