The DYKEM 44146 is a white, water-resistant marker designed for marking on surfaces that may be exposed to moisture, oils, or harsh shop conditions. It features a broad tip that lays down a wide, highly visible line of white ink, making it well suited for marking metal pipe, conduit, ductwork, fittings, and other trade materials during layout, fabrication, or installation. The water-resistant ink resists smearing and fading on contact with water, keeping markings legible through normal handling and light environmental exposure. HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and electricians commonly use markers like this for part identification, cut lines, and field labeling.
The DYKEM 44146 is appropriate for general trade use across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical contractor applications. It performs on metal, plastic, PVC, copper tubing, galvanized sheet, and most smooth or lightly textured surfaces. The broad tip makes it especially practical for large, easy-to-read markings in low-light conditions or on dark-colored materials where fine-tip markers are harder to read.
Designed for general-purpose marking on metal, PVC, plastic, and other common trade surfaces encountered in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
No installation is required for this marker. Cap the marker when not in use to prevent the tip from drying out. Store horizontally or tip-down to maintain ink flow to the broad tip. Keep away from open flame and high-heat surfaces during use.
