The DURA PLASTIC PVC80COUP112 is a Schedule 80 PVC socket coupling designed to join two sections of 1-1/2 inch pipe in a straight run. This fitting uses a slip socket (S x S) configuration on both ends, accepting solvent-welded pipe connections for a permanent, pressure-rated joint. Schedule 80 PVC is specified for higher-pressure applications where the thicker wall construction provides added mechanical strength over Schedule 40.
