The DURA PLASTIC PVC40CAPFIP112 is a female iron pipe thread (FIPT) end cap for PVC Schedule 40 pressure piping systems. It threads onto the end of a male-threaded pipe or fitting to terminate a run, plug an unused branch, or cap a line for pressure testing. Schedule 40 PVC construction gives it the wall thickness and pressure rating appropriate for cold-water supply, irrigation, pool and spa, and general industrial plumbing applications.
