The DUPONT tm127sbu2x002500 is a disposable flame retardant coverall made from ProShield 6 SFR, a non-woven wood-pulp and polyester fabric treated for flame retardancy and liquid repellence. Weighing 2.4 oz per square yard, this lightweight overgarment is designed to be worn over primary flame-resistant (FR) garments to add a barrier against non-hazardous particles and aerosols without contributing to burn injury. The garment will not ignite and continue to burn when exposed to a flame source. It is flame retardant treated, not inherently flame resistant. Available in size 2X-Large with a 30.5-inch inseam, it ships 25 coveralls per case.
These coveralls are suited for industrial environments where protecting reusable FR apparel from contamination is a priority. Typical applications include steel mills, coal mines, refineries, utilities, laboratories, and general maintenance work. The design features elastic cuffs and ankles, a laydown collar, serged seams, and a stormflap closure, making them practical for quick donning over existing FR workwear in both routine and intermittent-exposure scenarios.
Designed to be worn as a disposable overgarment on top of primary flame-resistant garments in non-hazardous particle and aerosol environments. Not intended as a standalone FR garment or for use in environments requiring hazardous material protection.
These coveralls are donned over primary FR workwear and require no tools or fasteners beyond the built-in stormflap closure. Inspect the garment for tears or damage before each use and discard after contamination or exposure. Workers should follow site-specific PPE programs and applicable OSHA standards when selecting and using FR overgarments. Do not launder or attempt to reuse a damaged coverall.
