The DUPONT QC122TYLXL000400 is a disposable full-body coverall constructed from Tychem 2000 fabric, designed for light chemical splash protection in industrial work environments. The Tychem 2000 material weighs 2.5 oz and provides at least 30 minutes of protection against more than 40 chemical challenges, making it suitable for tasks where brief or incidental exposure to hazardous liquids is expected. The coverall features a front zipper closure with storm flap, taped seams, elastic cuffs, and an attached sock ankle. It is sized X-Large with a 29-inch inseam. Industrial hygiene professionals, chemical plant workers, and safety-trained trades install and use this garment as part of a layered PPE program.
This coverall is used in light-splash industrial environments including petroleum refining, pulp and paper manufacturing, food processing, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. It provides a barrier against chemical splash and bloodborne pathogen exposure at a non-hazardous protection level. The yellow coloring aids worker visibility on the job site. The garment is intended for single-use applications where contamination risk makes reusable suits impractical. Each package contains 4 coveralls with a minimum order quantity of 1 package.
Designed for use in light chemical splash environments across a range of industrial sectors, including petroleum refining, chemical processing, pulp and paper manufacturing, food processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing, where OSHA and facility PPE programs require single-use splash-protective garments.
Donning and doffing of chemical protective coveralls should follow the facility safety officer or industrial hygienist's written procedure. Inspect the garment for tears, punctures, or compromised seams before each use. Power down or isolate chemical exposure sources before removing a contaminated suit. Disposal of used garments must comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations governing chemically contaminated PPE.
