The DUPONT ic501b-00-cs is a clean-processed and sterile protective sleeve designed for use in controlled environments where contamination control is critical. Constructed from Tyvek IsoClean fabric using a patented flash spinning process, the sleeve provides an inherent barrier against particles, microorganisms, and non-hazardous light liquid splash. At 18 inches in nominal length, it covers the forearm from wrist to bicep. Elastic closures at both ends ensure a secure, conforming fit that limits particle migration into the protected zone. Bound seams are covered with garment fabric to reinforce the seam and reduce the potential for particle penetration. Installation and donning are performed by cleanroom personnel, quality control technicians, or lab workers following facility gowning protocols.
This sleeve is suited for cleanroom and controlled-environment applications including pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, semiconductor fabrication, and medical device assembly. The sterile, clean-processed construction makes it appropriate for ISO-classified environments where sleeve-level protection is part of the standard gowning procedure. The one-size-fits-most design simplifies inventory management in facilities that equip multiple operators. Width ranges from 6 inches to 10 inches to accommodate a broad range of arm sizes.
Designed as a cleanroom-compatible protective sleeve for use in ISO-classified and controlled-environment gowning programs where sterile, particle-resistant arm coverage is required.
Donning should follow the facility gowning procedure established for the applicable cleanroom classification. Always don sleeves in the designated gowning area before entering the controlled zone. Inspect each sleeve for integrity before use and discard any sleeve showing visible damage, tears, or compromised seams. Single-use — do not reprocess or reuse.
