The DUPONT 0130697 is a copper-base extreme pressure anti-seize lubricant packaged in an 8 oz can. It is formulated to prevent galling, seizing, and corrosion on threaded fasteners, pipe fittings, and metal-to-metal connections exposed to high heat or harsh service conditions. The lubricant operates across a wide temperature range of -297 degrees F to 1,800 degrees F, making it suitable for applications involving sustained high heat or cryogenic exposure. Its silver-gray copper composition provides reliable film strength under extreme pressure loads. Licensed and sold under the Never-Seez trade name, this product is water-resistant and intended for professional use across HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and industrial service trades.
This anti-seize compound is appropriate for use on threaded connections, bolts, studs, and fittings in both residential and commercial mechanical systems. Common applications include exhaust system fasteners, boiler and furnace flange connections, pipe thread assembly, and any metal joint subject to high temperatures or corrosive environments. The 8 oz can format is suited for field service use. It is not rated as food grade and is not a nuclear-grade compound, so it is intended for general industrial and trade mechanical service.
Designed as an OEM-style general-purpose anti-seize lubricant for use on metal threaded fasteners, pipe fittings, and bolted flanges across HVAC, plumbing, and industrial mechanical applications.
Apply to clean, dry threads or mating surfaces before assembly using a brush, spatula, or direct can application. Plumbers, pipefitters, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers. Ensure surfaces are free of rust, scale, and oil contamination before application. Follow applicable codes such as IFGC or IPC when using on gas or water piping connections, and consult the manufacturer safety data sheet before use in confined spaces.
