The DUNDAS JAFINE TDIDVKZW is an indoor dryer vent kit designed for electric clothes dryers in situations where exterior venting is not possible or practical. The kit captures lint and moisture exhaust inside the living space by routing dryer output through a lint reservoir rather than to an outside duct termination. It is installed by HVAC technicians, appliance installers, or knowledgeable DIYers in space-constrained residential and mobile living environments. The kit includes a 4 x 5 inch aluminum foil transition duct, a plastic lint reservoir with an optional mounting ring, and two plastic adjustable clamps. This product is rated for electric dryer use only and must never be used with gas clothes dryers.
The TDIDVKZW is intended for residential settings where running a duct to an exterior wall or roof penetration is not feasible. Typical applications include apartments, condominiums, and recreational vehicles where building restrictions or structural constraints prevent conventional outdoor venting. The enclosed lint reservoir collects exhaust lint during dryer operation, and the optional mounting ring allows the reservoir to be secured to a wall or cabinet surface for a cleaner installation.
Designed for use with electric clothes dryers in residential and mobile living applications where outdoor venting is not possible. This kit is not compatible with gas clothes dryers under any circumstances.
Installation should follow the dryer manufacturer guidelines and any applicable local mechanical codes. Disconnect electrical power to the dryer at the breaker before making any duct connections. Ensure all clamp connections are snug to prevent lint leakage into the living space. The lint reservoir should be inspected and cleaned regularly to prevent buildup that could reduce airflow and create a fire hazard.
