The DREMEL MM501 is a grout removal blade designed for oscillating multi-tools. It attaches via a universal quick-fit interface and is engineered to cut through grout joints between wall and floor tiles without damaging the tile surface. The blade is sold as a single piece and is a direct-use accessory for professionals performing tile removal, regrouting, or surface prep work. Flooring installers, tile setters, and remodeling contractors are the primary users of this blade in residential and light commercial applications.
The MM501 is suited for work on ceramic, porcelain, and similar tile installations where grout joint removal is required prior to tile replacement or repair. It performs best on standard grout joints and is used in both wall and floor tile applications. The quick-fit mounting system reduces blade swap time on the job site, making it practical for high-volume tile work.
Compatible with the Fein Multi-Master 636. The universal quick-fit interface also fits Dremel, Bosch, Makita, Milwaukee, and Rockwell oscillating multi-tools.
Installation of this blade is performed by a tile setter, flooring installer, or general contractor using a compatible oscillating tool. Power down and unplug the oscillating tool before changing or securing the blade. Follow the tool manufacturer's blade-clamping procedure to ensure the blade is fully seated before operation. Always wear appropriate eye and hand protection when operating oscillating cutting accessories.
