The DOW CORNING 99180646 is a white RTV silicone joint sealant packaged in a 10.1 oz cartridge, part of the 737 Series. It seals and protects joints in mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and general construction assemblies. The silicone formulation cures at room temperature, reaching a tack-free state in 14 minutes and full cure in 24 hours. It maintains flexibility and adhesion across an operating range of -85 degrees F to 350 degrees F, making it suitable for applications that see thermal cycling. The white color blends with common interior surfaces, and the formula is rated food safe and paintable once cured.
This sealant is used in residential and light commercial applications where a flexible, durable seal is needed against glass, metal, painted surfaces, plastic, or rubber substrates. Typical install scenarios include duct connections, plumbing penetrations, equipment housing joints, and food-service equipment enclosures where an FDA-compliant sealant is required. The 10.1 oz cartridge fits a standard caulk gun for single-hand application in the field.
Designed for bonding and sealing joints on glass, metal, painted surfaces, plastic, and rubber substrates in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical applications. Part of the DOW CORNING 737 Series (Series Part Number 737-White).
This sealant is typically applied by HVAC technicians, plumbers, or general contractors using a standard caulk gun. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease or loose material before application. Allow the full 24-hour cure time before exposing the joint to fluids or operating temperatures at the high or low end of the rated range. Do not apply over existing uncured sealant or use in continuously submerged applications unless confirmed suitable for that service.
