The DOTCO 14CFS92-38 is a pistol-grip pneumatic drill designed for production and maintenance applications where consistent rotational speed and compact tool length matter. Powered by 90 psi shop air, it delivers 3,800 RPM and 0.4 horsepower through a 1/4-inch keyed chuck. At 5.7 inches overall length, it fits into tight work envelopes where larger drills cannot. The rear exhaust keeps discharge air away from the workpiece and operator. It accepts a standard 1/4-inch NPT air inlet and ships with an air hose included. Licensed tradespeople and production line technicians are the typical end users for this class of tool.
The 14CFS92-38 suits light-to-medium drilling tasks in metal fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair environments. Its pistol grip handle provides a natural hold for sustained drilling operations. The keyed chuck allows positive bit retention, which is preferred in applications where bit slippage under load is a concern. Because this is a non-reversible drill, it is intended for forward-direction drilling rather than fastener driving or removal. It is well suited to bench work, fixture drilling, and field maintenance where a compact, lightweight pneumatic drill is required.
Designed as a direct-use pneumatic drill compatible with standard 1/4-inch NPT air supply lines and fittings common to shop and field compressed-air systems.
Connection to the air supply should be made by a qualified user following the tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable OSHA compressed-air safety standards. Shut off and bleed the air line before connecting or disconnecting the tool. Verify shop air pressure does not exceed the rated 90 psi at the inlet to avoid over-speeding. Inspect the air hose and fittings for wear or damage before each use.
