The DOTCO 12LF280-36 is a pneumatic angle die grinder designed for material removal, deburring, grinding, and surface finishing in industrial and trade environments. It runs at 12,000 RPM with a 0.4 HP output and draws 23 CFM at 90 psi (620.53 kPa) of inlet air pressure. The 90-degree angle head configuration gives technicians access to confined workspaces where a straight grinder cannot reach. The lever throttle provides controlled speed modulation during use. Rear exhaust directs airflow away from the work surface and the operator. This tool is installed and serviced by machinists, fabricators, maintenance mechanics, and tool and die professionals.
The 12LF280-36 fits into general industrial maintenance, fabrication shops, and production environments requiring precision material removal. The 90-degree angle head suits port work, cavity finishing, and tight-clearance deburring tasks. At 6.6 inches in overall length and 1.1 pounds, it is compact enough for sustained single-hand operation. The 1/4 inch collet accepts standard die grinder bits, carbide burrs, and mounted points widely available in trade supply.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch shank die grinder tooling including carbide burrs, mounted grinding points, and abrasive accessories. Requires a compressed air supply capable of delivering 23 CFM at 90 psi through a 1/4 inch air inlet.
Installation and tool changes must be performed with the air supply disconnected. Use the correct collet wrench to secure tooling to the specified torque range listed in the DOTCO tool manual — do not overtighten or undertighten. Verify that the air line supply pressure does not exceed the rated inlet pressure before connecting. Inspect the collet and mounted tooling for wear or damage before each use in accordance with ANSI B186.1 safe practices for portable air tools.
