The DOTCO 10R0400-18 is a straight air die grinder designed for precision grinding, deburring, and finishing tasks in industrial and trade environments. Powered by compressed air, it runs at 60,000 RPM with a 0.1 horsepower output and draws 0.9 CFM at 620.53 kPa (90 psi). The 1/8 inch collet accepts standard burr bits and mounted points commonly used in metal fabrication, automotive, and mechanical service work. Rear exhaust routing directs air away from the work surface, improving visibility and keeping debris clear. The roll throttle and straight handle give technicians precise control during extended use. The aluminum housing keeps weight low at 0.2 pounds.
The 10R0400-18 is suited for close-tolerance work in tight spaces where larger grinders cannot reach. Its straight die grinder profile is a standard choice for machinists, pipefitters, automotive technicians, and general maintenance mechanics working on metal surfaces, weld seams, ports, and internal cavities. The compact 5.8 inch overall length fits easily into confined areas. It is compatible with standard shop air systems delivering the required inlet pressure through a 1/8 inch air inlet connection.
Designed for use with 1/8 inch shank burr bits, mounted points, and grinding accessories on standard compressed air systems supplying a 1/8 inch NPT inlet connection at the rated operating pressure.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with pneumatic tooling. Before connecting to an air supply, verify the air line is depressurized and the compressor is isolated. Confirm the air supply pressure does not exceed the rated operating pressure of 620.53 kPa and that the supply line is equipped with a filter and lubricator appropriate for pneumatic die grinders. Always secure the collet and accessory fully before applying air pressure.
