The DORMAKABA MULTI-HOUSING KA1410 is a MiFare Construction Zone Card designed for use with electronic access control locksets during the construction phase of a project. This card provides temporary access credentials that allow authorized personnel to operate compatible locksets before final keying or credential programming is complete. It functions within MiFare-based RFID access systems and is typically deployed by locksmiths, access control technicians, or general contractors managing site security during active construction.
The KA1410 is used in residential and multi-housing construction environments where Nova-D, Saffire, and RT series electronic locksets are installed. It is intended for the construction zone phase, allowing site access management before permanent credentials are issued to building occupants or property staff. Once construction is complete, the construction zone access is disabled and final credentials are programmed into the locksets.
Designed for use with DORMAKABA MULTI-HOUSING Nova-D, Saffire, and RT series electronic locksets operating on MiFare-based access control platforms.
This card is handled by licensed locksmiths or credentialed access control technicians familiar with the DORMAKABA MULTI-HOUSING system. Before programming or enrolling the card, ensure the lockset is in construction zone mode per the manufacturer's procedures. Do not attempt to enroll this card into a fully commissioned system without following the proper credential transition process, as doing so may disrupt established access settings.
