Doorbird 429653348 Ip Video Door Station Polished Brass

Product Description

The DOORBIRD 429653348 is an IP-based video door station finished in polished brass, designed for flush-mount installation at a building entry point. Based on the D2102KV FMB designation, this unit functions as a networked intercom and access-control device, combining video surveillance, two-way audio communication, and door release capability in a single flush-mount enclosure. The polished brass finish suits upscale residential and light commercial applications where aesthetics are part of the specification. Installation is typically handled by a low-voltage or security systems technician familiar with IP networking and door access wiring.

This door station is suited for residential entryways and light commercial access points where a flush-mount profile is required. The polished brass surface finish makes it a common specification in high-end single-family homes, multi-unit entry vestibules, and historic renovation projects that require a traditional metal appearance alongside modern IP intercom functionality. The flush-mount bracket configuration requires a prepared wall rough-in or back box to accept the unit flush with the door surround or facade.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or security systems technician in accordance with applicable local electrical codes and the NEC. Power down and de-energize all related access-control and door-release circuits before beginning any wiring work. A properly sized back box or rough-in enclosure must be installed in the wall prior to flush-mounting the unit. Follow the manufacturer wiring documentation for network, power, and door-release connections.
