The DO IT DIB200698 is a gold-coated exterior wood screw designed for outdoor fastening applications in decks, fencing, siding, and general exterior construction. The 6-lobed star drive head delivers fast bit engagement and improved torque control compared to standard Phillips or square drive patterns. A countersinking bugle head allows the screw to seat flush, preventing head pop-out and leaving a clean surface finish. The extra coarse thread and Type 17 cutting point make it well-suited for driving into dimensional lumber without pre-drilling in most applications. Coating is a PrimeGuard Plus proprietary polymer formula that resists corrosive elements in exterior environments.
