The DO IT BEST 341401 is a bimetal reciprocating saw blade engineered for cutting medium to heavy gauge metal and multi-material applications. At 8 inches long with an 18 TPI tooth configuration, it delivers controlled, efficient cuts through conduit, tubing, and heavy gauge metal up to 1/8 inch thick. The blade measures 3/4 inch wide and 0.035 inches thick, providing a rigid cutting profile suited to demanding jobsite conditions. Sold in a 5-pack stored in a vinyl pouch, this blade set is a practical stock item for electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and general contractors who run through blades regularly.
This blade is rated for heavy gauge metal cutting including conduit and tubing, and also handles wood-based applications such as opening nail-embedded wood crates and removing wood siding or shingles. That cross-material capability makes it a go-to blade for demolition and rough-in work where the material mix is unpredictable. The bimetal construction keeps cutting edges sharp longer than standard carbon steel blades under repetitive use.
Designed as a standard universal-shank reciprocating saw blade compatible with most corded and cordless reciprocating saws that accept standard reciprocating blade shanks.
Installation is performed by electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and general trade contractors using a compatible reciprocating saw. Always power down and unplug or battery-disconnect the saw before changing blades. Secure the blade fully in the blade clamp and confirm it is locked before beginning a cut. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when cutting metal or nail-embedded material.
