The DO IT 28140-144 is a 2 oz thixotropic, non-drip pipe thread compound paste designed to seal threaded pipe joints on lines carrying water, steam, or air. The paste consistency resists running or dripping during application, making it practical for overhead or angled fittings. It provides corrosion protection to threaded connections, never hardens, and allows joints to be separated cleanly when service is required. The formula contains no lead and is rated nontoxic. It is packaged in a long-life hang-tab tube suited for toolbox or countertop storage. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the primary installers.
