The DO IT 1118-12 is an extra thick flanged wax gasket designed for toilet installations where standard-thickness wax rings fall short. This gasket contains 40 percent more wax than ordinary wax rings, providing a more positive, leak-free seal at the toilet horn-to-floor flange connection. It is well suited for situations where the floor flange sits below the finished floor surface or where previous seals have failed. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers rely on this part to eliminate the need to stack two standard rings, reducing installation time and labor.

This extra thick wax gasket is used in residential and light commercial toilet installations, particularly in problem areas where the floor flange is recessed or where additional wax volume is needed to bridge the gap between the toilet horn and the drain opening. Installation Notes

Shut off the water supply and remove all water from the tank and bowl before removing the toilet.
