The DIXON VALVE ttbp50 is a pink PTFE thread seal tape designed for use on threaded pipe connections in plumbing, gas, and general piping applications. The tape measures 1/2 inch wide by 540 feet long and carries a 4 mil thickness, providing consistent coverage and reliable sealing on standard male pipe threads. The pink color coding follows common trade conventions for water service lines. Rated for temperatures from -400 degrees F to 500 degrees F, this tape maintains integrity across a wide range of operating conditions. Installation Notes

PTFE thread seal tape is applied by licensed plumbers and pipefitters as part of threaded joint assembly. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before disassembling any existing threaded connection. Do not use this tape on oxygen lines or in any application for which it has not been specifically rated.
