The DIXON VALVE 4hf4 is an H-Series ISO-B poppet valve female threaded coupler designed for industrial quick-connect hydraulic and fluid transfer applications. Built from 316 stainless steel, it delivers strong corrosion resistance in demanding environments including chemical, marine, and high-temperature service. The coupler accepts 1/2 inch-14 female NPTF threads and is rated for a maximum operating pressure of 3500 psi with a burst pressure of 22000 psi. Overall length is 2.86 inches, hex measures 1-1/16 inches, and maximum outside diameter is 1.86 inches. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this coupler in high-pressure fluid systems where fast, reliable disconnection is required.
This coupler is suited for industrial and commercial applications requiring ISO-B compliant quick-connect fittings. It performs across a wide temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it appropriate for both cold-environment and elevated-temperature process lines. Seal options available from Dixon include FKM, EPDM, Steam-EP, FDA FKM, Mil-Nitrile, Fuel Nitrile, PTFE, Silicone, and Kalrez grades 4079, 6375, and 7075. Valve configurations include unvalved, actuator, steel, brass, 303 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel. Sleeve options include sleeve-lock, flanged, and silicone-flanged. Oxy-clean treatment is also available. Contact Dixon directly to specify option adders.
Designed as an OEM-style ISO-B H-Series quick-connect coupler for industrial hydraulic and fluid transfer systems requiring 1/2 inch female NPTF threaded connections.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or industrial maintenance technician familiar with high-pressure fluid systems. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disconnecting or installing any coupler. Verify thread type and seal material compatibility with the process fluid before assembly. Follow applicable codes including ASME B31.3 for process piping when applicable.
