The DIVERSITECH RC-75 is a threaded conduit coupling designed for joining sections of intermediate metal conduit (IMC) and rigid metal conduit in electrical installations. Constructed from galvanized steel, this coupling provides corrosion resistance in both indoor and outdoor conduit runs. The threaded connection type ensures a secure, code-compliant mechanical joint between conduit sections. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of conduit raceway systems where a reliable metal-to-metal connection is required. At 3/4 inch trade size, it fits one of the most common conduit diameters used in commercial and residential electrical work.
The RC-75 is suited for use on 3/4 inch IMC and rigid metal conduit systems. Typical applications include branch circuit conduit runs in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential service installations where threaded rigid or IMC conduit is the specified raceway method. The galvanized steel construction makes it appropriate for exposed or concealed conduit work in damp or corrosive environments. Standard package quantity is 50 couplings per pack, making this a practical choice for contractors outfitting multiple conduit runs on a single job.
Designed for use on 3/4 inch IMC and rigid metal conduit. Not rated for use with EMT or non-metallic conduit systems.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits in the conduit run before making connections or pulling wire. Thread the coupling fully onto each conduit end using a pipe wrench to achieve a secure, tight joint. Verify that the completed conduit assembly maintains continuous electrical grounding continuity as required by applicable code.
