The DiversiTech QT-1 is a line tap piercing tool designed for easy and effective refrigerant line access. It features a valve core located in the one-quarter inch male port. This allows for quick line piercing and back seating of the needle. The flow of refrigerant begins upon connecting a depressor hose and automatically shuts off when the hose is removed. Notably, the valve core can be removed if not needed, enabling full unrestricted flow at all times. The design allows the valve core to be changed or removed without any refrigerant loss if the needle is front seated.
