The DIVERSITECH phl513 is a plenum-rated thermostat designed for ducted HVAC systems. Plenum thermostats are installed directly in the supply or return air stream to sense and control air temperature within the ductwork, allowing the system to maintain target temperatures across multiple zones or air handling applications. This unit is intended for ducted configurations only and is not rated for ductless or mini-split installations. Installation is typically performed by a licensed HVAC technician as part of a zoning or air distribution control setup.

The phl513 is suited for ducted residential and light commercial HVAC applications where in-duct temperature sensing is required.
