The DIVERSITECH MEC-751 is a compression-type EMT conduit connector made from steel, designed to secure 3/4-inch EMT conduit to electrical boxes and enclosures. The non-insulated throat accepts EMT conduit and cinches tight with a compression ring, eliminating the need for set screws and providing a reliable mechanical connection. The concrete-tight construction meets UL 514B requirements, making it suitable for use in concrete pours and wet or damp locations where a protected conduit termination is required. Electricians and electrical contractors install this connector as part of standard raceway assemblies in residential and commercial wiring systems.
This connector is used on standard 3/4-inch EMT conduit runs terminating at junction boxes, panel enclosures, outlet boxes, and similar electrical enclosures. Its concrete-tight rating makes it appropriate for slab and embed work as well as general indoor and protected outdoor applications. The compression design allows for fast installation without special tooling, which reduces labor time on high-volume rough-in work. Standard package quantity is 125 per master pack, supporting jobsite and shop stocking for large conduit runs.
Designed for use with 3/4-inch EMT conduit, connecting to standard electrical boxes and enclosures where a compression-type, concrete-tight fitting is required.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits and verify power is off before working on any enclosure or panel. Insert the EMT conduit into the connector body and tighten the compression nut by hand before applying a wrench to achieve a secure, concrete-tight fit. Do not over-tighten, as this may deform the conduit or compromise the connector body.
