The DiversiTech DIVE-RM-10 is an asphalt-based, fiber-reinforced roof cement designed for patching and sealing roofing systems in both residential and commercial applications. Formulated as a thick trowel-grade compound, it fills and seals cracks, splits, seams, and holes in a wide range of roofing materials. The compound can be applied in wet or dry conditions, making it suitable for emergency repairs as well as planned maintenance. Licensed roofing contractors and HVAC technicians use it when addressing roof penetrations, flashing details, and material edges during both new construction and retrofit work.
This roof cement is well suited for setting flashings, securing drip edges, and sealing roofing material edges during new construction. It is equally effective for maintenance repairs on existing roofs where cracks, splits, or failed seams need to be addressed quickly. The ability to apply in wet conditions extends its usefulness during active weather events or in high-humidity climates where waiting for dry conditions is not practical.
Designed as a general-purpose roof cement compatible with asphalt shingles, modified bitumen, built-up roofing membranes, and metal flashings commonly found in residential and light commercial roofing systems.
Application is typically performed by licensed roofing contractors or qualified HVAC technicians handling roof penetrations and equipment curb flashings. Surface preparation is recommended — remove loose debris and standing water where possible before applying, even though the product tolerates wet conditions. Apply with a trowel, working the compound firmly into cracks and seams for full contact. Follow all applicable local building codes and manufacturer safety data sheet guidance for ventilation and personal protective equipment during application.
