The DIVERSITECH DIVE-6244 is an insulated hook-style crimp connector designed for making secure, solder-free wire terminations in electrical and HVAC control wiring applications. Each connector crimps directly onto the wire, mechanically locking the connection and eliminating the need to solder. The hook terminal fits a No. 8 stud and accepts wire in the 16 to 14 AWG range. The insulated sleeve provides electrical isolation at the termination point. This pack contains 20 connectors, making it a practical bench or service-truck quantity for electricians, HVAC technicians, and maintenance professionals.
These hook connectors are suited for residential and commercial electrical and HVAC control wiring where a reliable, code-appropriate crimp termination is required at a screw or stud terminal. Typical applications include control panel wiring, equipment grounding conductors, and low-voltage circuit terminations at terminal blocks or equipment studs. The crimp-style installation makes them well suited for field work where soldering equipment is not practical.
Designed as an OEM-style insulated hook terminal for use with 16 to 14 AWG conductors terminated at No. 8 studs in standard electrical and HVAC control wiring applications.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician or HVAC technician. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before installing or replacing any terminal connector. Use a calibrated ratchet-style crimping tool sized for the wire gauge to ensure a full, mechanically secure crimp. Do not use these connectors on wire gauges outside the 16 to 14 AWG range, as an improper crimp can result in a loose or high-resistance connection.
