The DIVERSITECH ANTIVIB6X6 is a rubber and cork anti-vibration pad designed to reduce vibration and noise generated by refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. The construction bonds rubber outer layers to a cork center core, delivering effective isolation across a range of operating conditions. Corrugated ribs on both the top and bottom surfaces resist pad movement, preventing the walking or creep that occurs under sustained vibration. The pad measures 6 inches by 6 inches by 7/8 inches and is rated to withstand 50 psi of compressive load. Each pad can be cut to fit application-specific size requirements, making it adaptable to varied equipment footprints.
This pad is used under condensing units, compressors, mini-split outdoor units, refrigeration condensers, and other vibration-producing HVAC and refrigeration equipment in both residential and light commercial installations. The ability to cut the pad to size makes it suitable for equipment bases that do not conform to standard mounting dimensions. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics typically install these pads during equipment set or replacement to isolate the unit from the mounting surface and reduce structure-borne noise transmission.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use isolation pad for residential and light commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning equipment installations requiring vibration and noise reduction.
Installation is performed by HVAC technicians or refrigeration mechanics during equipment set or scheduled maintenance. Power down and lock out the unit before repositioning equipment to place or replace pads. When cutting the pad to size, use a sharp utility knife and a straightedge to maintain clean edges for full surface contact. Ensure the mounting surface is level and free of debris so the pad makes consistent contact with the equipment base.
