Product Description
The DIVERSITECH 985a is a polymer-free refrigerant leak sealant designed for HVAC/R systems up to 6 tons. The Flex Inject formula travels through the system alongside the oil and refrigerant, locating and permanently sealing leaks without requiring tools, gauges, pump-down, or refrigerant recovery. Its metal-bonding properties form a protective barrier at the leak site that stops refrigerant loss and resists future leaks. Licensed HVAC technicians use this product for fast field repairs on air conditioning and refrigeration systems where pulling refrigerant charge is not practical or cost-effective.
The 985a is suited for residential and light commercial HVAC/R applications up to 6 tons. It is compatible with all common refrigerant types including R-410A and works with all oil types found in the field. The sealant is safe for use with compressors, heat pumps, condensers, recovery units, and other system components. The polymer-free, microchannel-friendly formula will not plug manifold gauges, TXVs, pistons, or cap tubes, making it appropriate for use across a wide range of system configurations without risk of component damage.
