The DIVERSITECH 93-s-05 is a swaging punch tool sized for 5/16-inch tubing, used to enlarge the end of soft copper or aluminum refrigerant tubing so one pipe section can be inserted directly into another for a solder joint. This eliminates the need for a separate coupling fitting in many field repair and installation scenarios. HVAC technicians reach for swaging tools during system installation, coil replacement, and lineset fabrication.
