The DIVERSITECH 6722 is a zinc plated steel fender washer used to distribute load across a broader surface area when fastening components in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical applications. With a 1/4 inch nominal size, a 9/32 inch inner diameter, and a 1-1/4 inch outer diameter, this washer provides a wide bearing surface relative to the bolt diameter. The zinc plating provides corrosion resistance suitable for interior and sheltered exterior installations. Each pack contains 20 washers, making it a practical quantity for service calls and small installations. Licensed tradespeople and experienced technicians typically keep fender washers on hand for equipment mounting, panel work, and bracket fastening tasks.
These fender washers are suited for use in both ducted and ductless HVAC system installations, as well as general mechanical and light structural fastening applications. They are commonly used when securing equipment to mounting brackets, attaching access panels, or anywhere a standard flat washer does not provide enough bearing surface to prevent pull-through or surface damage. The 20-piece pack is well matched to service inventory or single-job use.
Designed for use with standard 1/4 inch fasteners in both ducted and ductless HVAC installations, as well as general mechanical, plumbing, and electrical panel fastening applications.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC technicians, electricians, plumbers, or qualified mechanical tradespeople depending on the application. Always de-energize and lock out electrical equipment before fastening or adjusting components in live panels or control enclosures. Use appropriate hand tools and follow applicable codes including NEC and IFGC where relevant. Do not reuse washers that show signs of deformation, corrosion, or cracking.
