The DITEK DTK-VM2TM75 is a Versa-Module2 surge protection device rated for 75-volt systems and terminated with screw-type connections. It is designed to protect low-voltage data, signal, and Power over Ethernet (POE) circuits from transient voltage events including lightning-induced surges and electrical fast transients. The module installs inline on the protected circuit and is typically deployed by low-voltage technicians, security integrators, or electricians working on structured cabling, access control, or networked device installations.
The DTK-VM2TM75 is suited for POE device applications where circuit protection at 75 volts is required. Screw terminal termination allows for direct conductor insertion without specialized tooling, making it a practical choice for field installation in enclosures, panels, or junction points where low-voltage circuits interface with external wiring runs exposed to surge risk. It is sold and installed as a single unit per package.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or field-addition surge protection module for 75-volt low-voltage POE device circuits in residential and commercial installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with applicable NEC guidelines for surge protective devices. De-energize the circuit and disconnect POE power sourcing equipment before wiring the module. Ensure conductor terminations at the screw terminals are fully seated and torqued per the terminal manufacturer's standard practice. Do not install on circuits exceeding the 75-volt rating of the module.
