The DITEK DTK-DR120P1 is a DIN rail-mounted surge protective device (SPD) rated for 120-volt single-phase AC power systems. It is designed to protect sensitive downstream equipment from transient voltage events, including lightning-induced surges and switching transients on the power line. The compact DIN rail form factor allows direct mounting inside standard electrical enclosures and distribution panels. Licensed electricians and low-voltage technicians install this device as part of a layered surge protection strategy for commercial and light industrial power distribution systems.
This SPD is suited for single-phase 120-volt branch circuit protection in commercial buildings, industrial control panels, and security or CCTV power supply installations. Its DIN rail mounting style makes it a practical fit for any enclosure that follows standard 35mm DIN rail configurations. The device is sold as an individual unit and is appropriate for new installations as well as retrofit applications where surge protection is being added to an existing panel or enclosure.
Designed as an SPD for single-phase 120-volt AC branch circuit applications, including CCTV power supply systems and general commercial power distribution panels using standard 35mm DIN rail mounting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC Article 285, which governs surge-protective devices. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before mounting or wiring the device. Follow the manufacturer data sheet for proper conductor termination and ensure the enclosure ground is properly bonded before commissioning.
