Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or alarm system installer in accordance with applicable local codes and NEC Article 800 for communication circuits. De-energize all circuits and confirm power is off before making or breaking wiring connections at the terminal strip. Use appropriately rated conductors and verify clamp torque is sufficient to retain conductors without nicking or damaging insulation. Do not exceed the rated conductor size for the terminal clamps.
