The DIABLO DMAPLA4560 is a 3/4-inch diameter, 14-inch overall length SDS-Plus hammer drill bit engineered for drilling clean, precise holes in reinforced concrete. The 4-cutter full carbide head is built with Dura-Carbide material rated to withstand heat up to 1800 degrees F, compared to 800 degrees F for standard bits. Tri-Metal Fusion Welding bonds the full carbide head to resist breakage under extreme impact loads. A removable stainless-steel sleeve enables dust extraction integration, removing up to 97% of dust and debris when paired with a compatible adapter. Licensed concrete and masonry tradespeople use this bit for anchor setting, epoxy placement, and reinforced slab work.
This bit is suited for residential and commercial concrete applications where rebar is present. The 4-cutter geometry takes small, controlled bites through rebar rather than requiring a separate rebar cutter, eliminating additional prep steps. The 8-inch working length provides sufficient depth for standard anchor installations. The precision 90-degree pyramid tip promotes accurate hole placement in reinforced concrete, and a visible wear indicator confirms drilling diameter integrity throughout the bit's service life. A compatible Snap-Lock Adapter, sold separately, completes the two-step dust extraction system for OSHA-relevant silica dust reduction on interior and exterior job sites.
Designed for use with SDS-Plus rotary hammer drills. The integrated dust extraction sleeve is compatible with the Snap-Lock Adapter (sold separately) to complete the two-step full carbide head dust extraction system.
Installation should be performed by qualified masonry or concrete tradespeople familiar with rotary hammer operation and applicable OSHA silica dust exposure standards. Confirm the SDS-Plus chuck on the rotary hammer is clean and undamaged before inserting the bit. When using the dust extraction sleeve, connect the vacuum system before drilling to maintain effective capture of silica-containing debris. Inspect the carbide head and wear indicator before each use and remove the bit from service if the wear mark indicates diameter loss.
