The DEWALT ACCESSORIES DWAPB27183 is a bi-metal portable band saw blade designed for cutting common metal construction materials in the field or on the job site. At 1/2 inch wide with an 18 TPI tooth count, this blade delivers a balance of cut speed and finish quality suited to metal conduit, copper pipe, and structural steel. Bi-metal construction bonds a high-speed steel tooth edge to a flexible alloy steel back, giving the blade resistance to tooth breakage while maintaining body flexibility under the tension and vibration of portable band saw use. Licensed electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, and general contractors reach for this blade when making repetitive metal cuts with a compact band saw. Sold in a pack of 20.
This blade is sized for 27-inch portable band saw machines. It is compatible with the DEWALT DCS377/TV 109308 and DCS375/TV 109307 Compact Band Saw models, as well as other manufacturers' 27-inch machines. The 18 TPI configuration makes it best suited for thinner-wall tubing, conduit, and small-diameter pipe rather than heavy structural sections. Pack quantity of 20 makes it practical for stocking a service vehicle or a job site trailer where blade changes happen frequently on production cutting work.
Confirmed compatible with the DEWALT DCS377/TV 109308 and DCS375/TV 109307 Compact Band Saw. Also fits other manufacturers' 27-inch portable band saw machines.
Blade installation and replacement should be performed by the operator following the band saw manufacturer's safety procedures, including disconnecting the battery pack or power source before opening the blade guard. Inspect blade tension and tracking adjustment after mounting a new blade before resuming cuts. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling band saw blades. Dispose of worn blades in a puncture-resistant container per local shop safety practices.
