The DEWALT ACCESSORIES DWAF3PH2IR5 is a 5-pack of 3.5-inch Phillips 2 (PH2) impact-rated screwdriving bits engineered for use in drills and impact drivers. Built around the FLEXTORQ Zone design, each bit absorbs impact forces to resist wear and extend service life in demanding fastening applications. The redesigned Phillips 2 tip geometry is engineered to deliver up to 100 percent more screws driven per bit compared to standard geometry. Laser-etched size markings on each bit allow for fast, accurate identification in the field. The 1/4-inch hex shank provides direct compatibility with standard drill chucks and quick-release impact driver collets.
These bits are suited for residential and light commercial construction, mechanical rough-in, and general trade fastening tasks. Electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, and general contractors driving self-drilling screws, sheet metal screws, or wood screws into framing, decking, panels, or equipment enclosures will find the impact-rated construction beneficial. The 3.5-inch length provides added reach in confined spaces where a standard 1-inch bit falls short. Each pack contains 5 identical bits, allowing jobsite stock rotation to maintain consistent performance.
Designed for use with 1/4-inch hex chuck drills and impact drivers that accept standard quick-release bit shanks. Intended for driving Phillips 2 fasteners in typical construction and trade installation applications.
Install into any 1/4-inch hex quick-release chuck or standard drill chuck before energizing the tool. Always match the bit profile to the fastener recess to prevent cam-out and fastener damage. Inspect bits for wear or deformation before each use and replace if tip geometry is compromised. No special certifications or permits are required to use screwdriving bits, but fastening applications may be subject to applicable building codes governing the trade performing the work.
