The DEVCON 10720 is a two-part, aluminum-filled epoxy adhesive in the Aluminum Liquid F-2 series, packaged in a 3 lb can. It is formulated for metal bonding and repair applications where welding is not practical or possible. The product cures to a gray color with a Shore D hardness of 85 and achieves full cure in 16 hours. With a shear strength of 9,820 psi and tensile strength up to 2,450 psi, it delivers structural-grade performance. The self-leveling, thick liquid consistency allows it to be poured into castings or repairs, and the cured material is fully machinable. Industrial maintenance technicians and metal fabricators are the primary installers.
This adhesive is suited for general-purpose metal bonding and repair in industrial and automotive environments. Typical applications include bonding metal panels to frames, repairing cracked engine housings, sealing fuel tanks, and restoring metal enclosures. The formulation is rated for interior and exterior use and carries a marine-grade water-resistant designation, making it appropriate for high-humidity or wet-environment installations. Application temperature range is 55 degrees F to 90 degrees F, and the cured assembly can withstand service temperatures up to 250 degrees F.

Surface preparation is critical — clean and abrade metal substrates before application to ensure maximum bond strength. Observe the 75-minute working time and allow a full 16-hour cure before loading the assembly. Apply only when ambient and substrate temperatures are between 55 degrees F and 90 degrees F. Follow applicable facility safety protocols for handling two-part epoxy systems, including adequate ventilation.
