The DELTANA BBC20-REPLU10B is a replacement bell button finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze, designed to restore or refresh doorbell installations where the original button has worn, failed, or no longer matches updated hardware. Measuring 1 inch in length by 1 inch in width and 0.1 inches in height, this compact button fits into standard bell button mounting configurations. Weighing 0.1 pounds, it is a lightweight component typically installed by general contractors, handymen, or electricians during door hardware service calls or low-voltage doorbell system maintenance.
This replacement bell button suits residential entry door applications where architectural hardware consistency matters. The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish coordinates with matching door hardware sets in the same finish family. It is sold individually and is appropriate for use in new installations or as a like-for-like swap on existing doorbell rough-in locations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement bell button for standard residential doorbell installations. Verify mounting hole spacing and wire terminal configuration against the existing rough-in before installation.
Low-voltage doorbell wiring is typically handled by electricians or qualified handymen in compliance with NEC guidelines for low-voltage circuits. Before removing the existing button, disconnect or confirm the transformer supplying the doorbell circuit is powered down or that circuit voltage is within safe low-voltage limits. Use a small screwdriver to disconnect and reconnect bell wire leads at the terminal screws on the back of the button. Avoid over-tightening terminal screws to prevent wire damage.
