The DELTA FAUCET dlr22000 is a 1/2 inch universal rough-in valve body designed for tub and shower installations requiring a pressure-balancing valve with an integrated shower-only diverter. Built from one-piece forged brass, this valve maintains water temperature within 3 degrees F of the set point, protecting against sudden shifts in hot or cold water supply pressure. The valve accepts MNPT and female sweat connections, giving installers flexibility during rough-in. A licensed plumber handles installation during the rough-in phase of construction or remodel. Trim kit is sold separately.

This rough-in valve suits residential tub and shower applications where a dedicated shower diverter is required within a single valve body. The one-piece forged valve body supports back-to-back installation, making it a practical choice for shared plumbing walls between two bathrooms. Installation Notes
