The DE-STA-CO 8007-E is a pneumatic hold down toggle clamp designed to secure workpieces on fixtures, jigs, and production tooling. It delivers an inner holding capacity of 832 pounds (3700 N) and operates at a maximum air pressure of 145 psi (10 bar). The solid bar opens to 98 degrees for clear workpiece access and provides a working height under bar of 1.39 inches. This clamp mounts horizontally and is actuated by compressed air through a G1/8 port, making it well suited for automated or semi-automated manufacturing environments. Licensed HVAC, millwrights, toolmakers, and fixture builders install this type of clamp in high-cycle production lines where manual toggle clamping is impractical.
The 8007-E is used in industrial workholding applications including CNC fixture plates, welding positioners, assembly jigs, and robotic work cells. It is suited for both light and medium-duty production tooling where repeatable clamping force and pneumatic actuation are required. The horizontal mounting orientation simplifies integration into flat fixture surfaces. Sensor compatibility includes Round and T-Slot configurations, allowing position feedback in automated cells. Operating temperature range spans 14 degrees F to 194 degrees F, making it viable in a broad range of shop environments.
Designed for horizontal-mount fixture and tooling applications requiring pneumatic actuation. Sensor compatibility is rated for Round and T-Slot configurations. Verify port threading and mounting hole layout against fixture drawings before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified toolmaker, fixture designer, or maintenance technician familiar with pneumatic workholding systems. Depressurize the air supply line before connecting or disconnecting the G1/8 port fitting. Confirm that supply air pressure does not exceed 145 psi and that the operating environment remains within the 14 degrees F to 194 degrees F temperature range. Secure all mounting fasteners through the 0.25-inch mounting holes before applying air pressure to the clamp.
