The DE-STA-CO 5105-R is a manual vertical hold-down toggle clamp built from forged alloy steel for demanding workholding applications. It delivers a holding capacity of 696.91 lb (3100 N) through a straight, red-handled bar that travels 159 degrees and opens 89 degrees for fast part loading and unloading. The flanged base provides a stable four-hole mounting footprint, and the oxide finish adds corrosion resistance. This clamp is installed by machinists, fabricators, and fixture builders in production and assembly environments where repeatable, secure part clamping is required.
The 5105-R is suited for vertical clamping on welding fixtures, machining jigs, assembly tables, and similar workholding setups in both light manufacturing and heavy fabrication. Its closed bar end and solid bar style make it appropriate for applications requiring firm downward pressure on flat or near-flat workpiece surfaces. The Toggle Lock Plus feature provides added security against unintended release during operation.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit clamp for vertical hold-down toggle clamp applications requiring a flanged base and solid bar configuration.
Installation is typically performed by fixture builders or maintenance technicians using standard hand tools. Secure all four base mounting holes to the fixture plate before operating the clamp under load. Verify that the mounting surface is flat and that fasteners are fully seated to prevent rocking under clamping force. Always release clamping pressure and confirm the bar is fully open before inserting or removing workpieces.
