The DDP SPECIALTY ELECTRONIC MATERIALS 341557 is a 24 oz minimal expanding polyurethane gun foam designed for filling, sealing, and insulating gaps and cracks in residential and light commercial construction. Formulated for use with professional foam guns, it delivers precise, controlled dispensing to minimize waste and overfill. The updated formula is optimized for cold or dry climate conditions and provides more yield per can compared to previous versions. It reaches tack-free status in 30 minutes and remains re-startable for up to 30 days, making it practical for multi-day jobsite use. Sold in cases of 12 cans.
This foam is suited for air sealing applications where drafts, moisture intrusion, or energy loss occur through gaps around pipes, conduit, window and door frames, sill plates, and penetrations through framing. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general contractors use this product when completing rough-in or finishing work that requires a reliable, low-mess sealant. The minimal expanding formula reduces the risk of bowing frames or disturbing finished surfaces, which makes it a preferred choice in tight or finished spaces.
Designed for use with professional dispensing foam guns compatible with standard 24 oz polyurethane foam canisters. Suitable for gaps and cracks in wood, masonry, metal, and most common building substrates.
This product is applied by licensed tradespeople or experienced installers using a compatible professional foam gun. Wear appropriate PPE including gloves and eye protection, as uncured polyurethane foam bonds to skin and is difficult to remove. Do not apply to surfaces that are wet or frosted, and ensure the can and substrate are within the product temperature range. Follow all local building and fire codes regarding foam sealant use in penetrations, particularly in fire-rated assemblies.
