The DAP INC 8794 is a 100% silicone kitchen and bath sealant formulated for durable, permanent waterproof sealing in residential wet areas. The 2.8 oz tube delivers maximum flexibility once cured, resisting shrinkage and cracking over time. This sealant provides 20-year mold and mildew resistance and becomes water resistant within 30 minutes of application. Once fully cured, the formula is safe for incidental food contact, making it appropriate for use near food preparation surfaces. Plumbers and general contractors commonly apply this product during fixture installations, trim-outs, and bath or kitchen remodels where a clean, clear seal is required.
